Team interpreting

Some assignments may require more than one interpreter. Typically the  factors mandating team interpreting include, but are not limited to:

  • Length and/or complexity of the assignment
  • Unique needs of the person being served
  • Physical and emotional dynamics of the setting
  • Avoidance of repetitive stress injuries (RSI's) for interpreters

Tactile Interpreting

We offer tactile interpreting for Deaf-Blind individuals.

Its The Law

Communication  access is a civil right for all! Providing Sign Language interpreters  ensures communication access to people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.  As mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it  is required that all agencies and places of public accommodations  provide professional Sign Languages interpreters upon request. The ADA  is a comprehensive anti-discriminatory law that extends to society and  most aspects of daily living. Title III Section 36.303 requires places  of public accommodations to be accessible to, and usable by, people with  disabilities.
